Meet Dr. Caroline Tahk, D.M.D., M.S.

Dr. Caroline Tahk is a board-certified orthodontist whose goals are to make sure that each patient receives the highest level of orthodontic care and finishes the treatment with beautiful smiles. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Tahk then pursued her orthodontic training at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where she earned her Certificate in Orthodontics as well as Masters in Oral and Craniofacial Sciences. She also received her Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Rochester Eastman Institute Of Oral Health in Rochester, NY.
Dr. Tahk believes in providing evidence-based care and is dedicated to advancing the field of orthodontics. She has studied various syndromes related to orthodontics since she was a student, presenting her research both at Harvard and UCSF. She also published several articles in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and the Korean Journal of Orthodontics. She is also an active member of American Association of Orthodontists, American Board of Orthodontics, Northeastern Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, and Massachusetts Dental Society.
A native of South Korea, she is fluent in both English and Korean. During her free time, Dr. Tahk loves cooking, baking, exercising, and spending time with her family and friends. An avid supporter of music and a violinist herself, Dr. Tahk also enjoys attending the Boston Symphony Orchestra concerts.
